Bhutan

Bhutan is also known as "Drukyul" and "The Land of Thunder Dragon" by its people. It is the land blessed with priceless and strong spiritual and cultural legacy. The kingdom is ruled by the dynamic and foresighted king providing magnificent leadership and stable government since generations. Bhutan is a constitutional monarchy and it has democratically elected government.

Bhutan is only country today with Mahayana Buddhism as its state religion; it is located in South Asia, north of India and south of China.

Though very young as a nation state, the country is believed to have been inhabited as early as 2000 B.C; evident from discoveries of remnants of ancient stone implements, earthenware and stone structures from its different regions.
